A rather unique alternative proposition has recently opened in Orlando. Located at the popular Florida Mall, the Crayola Experience is a fantastic option for those days when it is just too hot or too wet
to be outside at a theme park. Reasonably priced, a family of 4 can spend hours here for around $100 playing with the interactive attractions.
The first thing you do when you get there is create your very own, personalized iconic Crayola crayon that you can use whilst there or take away as a momento.
There is an indoor play area for toddlers and a separate area for older kids where they can climb through art inspired structures and giant crayons. Other inventive ideas include tablet-based galleries
where kids (and adults) can draw their own picture and/or colour them before sending them to the digital wall where they are brought to life and fully animated.
There are numerous other ways for kids to express their inner artist such as clay modelling, drip painting and various other creative stations that bring their work to life.
This really is something quite different to the traditional Orlando attractions and definitely one to keep in reserve for when you need something to do indoors.
